The Ultimate Tribute To Frank Sinatra In Vegas With The L.A Showgirls
New York New York
One For My Baby
The Sunshine Of My Life
More than a Tribute! Experience The Man & His Music Live with his Showgirls, in the City that he helped to shape - Las Vegas.
From his debut at The Desert Inn in 1951 through the swinging golden years at The Sands during the sixties, to his final goodbye at The MGM Grand in 1994, the magic of Sinatra live in Vegas is captured perfectly by David Alacey.
This stunning production features Sinatra with The L.A Showgirls and can be booked with a fabulous live band or with a playback option.
The show perfectly captures not only the wonderful music and comedy of the original legend, but also the remarkable personality of the star who ruled the world of entertainment from The Sands Hotel during the glamorous Vegas heyday of the sixties.
Featuring the beautiful L.A Showgirls wearing costumes actually worn at The Desert Inn and Flamingo hotels in Las Vegas, when the company danced for Headliners such as Don Rickles, Buddy Greco and Jack Jones. The show is available with superbly recorded orchestral tracks or alternatively backed by the swinging Don Hunt band. Mr Hunt has also served as Bruce Forsyths musical director for over thirty years and during an amazing career has held the same role for the likes of Anthony Newley, Bing Crosby and even the real Sammy Davis Jnr. Many sizes of band are available, from a trio to a 20 piece orchestra, and you have the option to choose the band appropriate for your event.
The show includes all of the hit songs made popular by the legendary performer such as "Come Fly With Me", "The Lady Is A Tramp", "My Way", "Strangers in The Night and of course, New York New York. These are performed with Amazing Accuracy by David Alacey who not only sings like Ol Blue Eyes, but also shares his unique mannerisms. Physically resembles him on stage and even talks like he is at the Sands taking part in a legendary concert with The Count Basie Orchestra.
David Alacey who also devised the show, trained in performing arts at the prestigious Italia Conti Academy. With numerous T.V appearances to his credit including Lovejoy and Inspector Alleyn. David was one of the first artistes to embrace the Tribute Market and after watching Frank Sinatra perform live in London twice, became one of the first British tributes to The Chairman of The Board.
He has spent the last twenty year portraying Sinatra in productions worldwide. Including fifteen years in his own celebrated Rat Pack show. He has had the honour of performing at a Royal Command Performance for HRH The Princess Royal and in 2013 was voted the Number One UK Tribute Show by The Agents Association of Great Britain.
After touring with the Vegas Legend and extended Rat Pack member - Buddy Greco, Buddy was moved to say that "This Guy Really is Sinatra" - quite a complement! but even this did not come close to the comment by Frank's daughter Nancy who said that David's recording of "New York New York" with a 35 piece orchestra for a new Atari PC game was "too close to my fathers recording" It really doesn't get better than that!
In the words of Las Vegas Mayor Oscar B. Goodman, Sinatra was the destination's most enduring icon, an inimitable original who was influential in shaping Las Vegas' image and entertainment scene. If you were in Las Vegas at the same time as Sinatra, there was nothing else that could compare. Even when the entertainment in town was changing from headliners to magic and production shows, Sinatra was still the main event
So dont miss this opportunity to bring a touch of Las Vegas style and glamour to your event. David Alacey and The L.A Showgirls will ensure that it becomes The Main Event!

David Alacey not only looked like Frank but he had the drawl, the wit and boy could he nail a tune. The whole thing was a triumph and while we may never see such greats as Frank, Dean and Sammy again in our lifetime but the good news is that as long as such talented impersonators continue to exist, we may not need to.
- Chris Longhurst - Uxbridge Gazette
- Dannii Minogue
"I can honestly say that having toured with these guys, they are as close as anyone will ever get to my dear friends Frank, Dean and Sammy. At times it was just like being back with my pals at The Sands in the sixties so much fun and it really doesnt get any better than that. As for David Alacey well this guy really is Sinatra its frightening.
- Vegas Legend - Buddy Greco
Each actor was perfectly cast in their individual roles and Alacey in particular seemed to have somehow imbibed the very essence of ole blue eyes before coming on stage. His performance was breathtaking - seriously! The tone, the modulation and the rhythm in his voice throughout the evening was genuine Sinatra. His masculine charm was also apparent in his pristine characterisation and it was with effortless charisma he strolled into the audience and sang Ive Got You Under My Skin while chatting and engaging with the ladies - just like the icon.
- Sarah Gudgeon - The Edinburgh Herald & Post
Sinatra is back at The Sands with Count Basie in 1966, as Alacey sings and swings with the style and panache of Ol Blue Eyes in his glorious prime. He sets up the sadness of a loser in the game of love with the saloon song One for My Baby as only a skilled performer who has perhaps experienced the sentiment of Johnny Mercers masterful lyrics can
- John Judge The Daily Telegraph
"Sensational - how am I going to top it next year"
- Gemma, The Park Inn Hotel - London
Sinatra himself (David Alacey who also devised and directed the show) strolled onto stage filling the theatre with a very close vocal of 'Ol Blue Eyes himself. He was good - Very good!
- Helen Rawlings The Gloucestershire Echo
David Alacey sounded like Old Blue Eyes, right enough. And its no surprise that Buddy Greco once said of him This guy really is Sinatra.
- Malcolm Stacey The Tenby Observer
A near perfect Impression
- Peter Hepple The Stage
"David processes the charisma and personality required to turn just singing Frank's songs into a real portrait of a live Sinatra performance... he uniquely captures the feel of Ol' Blue Eyes live, during those thrilling concert years".
- Dean Schultz - The Sinatra Music Society
"A stylish Crooner"
- The Times
